Countries Where Intend to Facilitate Labor Mobility Initiatives

It is found that the migration from India is dominated by the GCC countries. The six GCC countries together accounted for about 96% of labour outflows from India (based on emigration clearance numbers), thus highlighting the importance of the India-GCC migration corridor. The main factors leading to attractiveness of Middle East are economic strength, relative political stability and modern infrastructure. Saudi Arabia was the most popular destination for Indian migrants, due to ease of availability of jobs to unskilled labour along with higher wages compared with India. Following destinations would be preferred for the overseas employment:  

   Potential Job Roles for Up-Skilling The preferred Job Roles would be as given by MEA/NSDC on international/Trans-National Standards, however, the proposed Job Roles under which envisage to train/up-skilling the candidates would be as follows:

Though, the preference may also be change in future keeping the requirement into consideration as Manufacturing, Construction, Retail and Health Care were found to be the most thrust sectors for overseas employment.
